Summer Adventure 2020

This summer explore the natural beauty of Harford County streams, snap stream-side selfies at your favorite locations, and win prizes in Harford Streams Summer Adventure, open May 22, 2020 through September 7, 2020 for citizens of all ages and their furry friends.

Harford Streams Summer Adventure seeks to raise awareness and support for protecting and restoring our precious natural resources by encouraging visitors to scenic waterways throughout Harford County.

What’s New?

New this year are dog bandanas for your furry friends when they join you in participating in the Summer Adventure.

Poker Run

This year’s Summer Adventure will once again include a Poker Run. The Poker Run will begin at Annie’s Playground at Edgely Grove Park on Saturday, July 18. Registration between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.  

Travel to designated locations, take your stream-side selfies, and collect playing cards. All participants who complete the Poker Run will receive a free t-shirt. All furry friends who complete the Poker Run will receive a bandanna. Additional prizes will be awarded based on winning poker hands.

Everyone is eligible to participate in the Harford Streams Summer Adventure 2020 and will receive a free t-shirt after uploading pictures from 7 of the locations listed above.

Harford County employees and immediate family members are not eligible to enter the pontoon boat trip drawing or the canoe trip drawing.

Only one entry per household for the drawings for the pontoon boat trip and the canoe trip.

All of the locations provided are located on public property.  Participation in the Harford Streams Summer Adventure 2019 does not provide permission to enter into private property.  

Participants in the Harford Streams Summer Adventure 2020, should use caution when taking photographs to avoid injury.

Harford County reserves the right to delete any photograph which is determined by the County to be inappropriate or offensive.
